It’s that time of year again and we at Bad River are looking forward to hosting our 42nd Annual Manoomin Celebration Powwow! This will be a dedicated page where you can come to learn about all things associated with our powwow this year as it comes out. We of course look forward to seeing you and all of our visitors for our 42nd Manoomin Celebration starting August 18th – August 20th, 2023!

Food vendor inspections will begin around noon on August 18. The inspectors are requiring food vendors to have the basic food handlers course completed prior to the event. Vendors can take the 40-minute training by CLICKING HERE.

Bad River Canoe Race:
This event is sponsored by the Bad River Lodge & Casino, and it will take place on Saturday August 19th. The race will begin at the Bad River Boat Landing on Government Road.
Casino staff with be at Government Road Boat landing at 7:00am, registration will open at 7:30am and close at 8:45am on August 19th. The race itself will begin at 9:00am.
