PUBLIC NOTICE
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency is proposing to modify the 2008 National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) General Permit for Storm Water Discharges Associated with Construction Activity (CGP).
In accordance with Section 401 of the Clean Water Act (CWA), the Bad River Band of Lake Superior Tribe of Chippewa Indians has examined the application of the 2008 NPDES CGP and determined that the there is reasonable assurance—with conditions attached —that the activities associated with this General Permit will be consistent with relevant water quality considerations. Additional information is provided in the attached document.
The Tribe seeks comments on its proposed CWA Section 401 Certification associated with the 2008 NPDES CGP. Written comments can be sent via email or post office to:
