Bad River Forest Products

We are excited to share with you Bad River Forest Products. 

In March of 2026 the Bad River Tribe was awarded a one-time grant from the BIA to purchase a sawmill, firewood processor, skid steer, to build a dry kiln, and to pay the wages for a project coordinator. 

In July our project coordinator was hired, and a Meadows Circle saw was purchased. 

Tribal Council has approved a site for the sawmill, and we are hoping to have it ready for our sawmill and firewood operations to be set up there in the summer of 2027. 

In the meantime, we have the sawmill set up in a temporary site and are available for custom sawmilling projects.
