Family Resource The FRM Program goals enables community members in, or close to being in, difficult financial situation to acquire the knowledge and skills necessary to better manage their monies and resources to maintain self-sufficiency. The FRM Program has helped clients avoid housing evictions, establish long and short term goals, opened checking/savings accounts, establish good credit practices, help clear negative credit history and/or help build good credit history.
This program also works with request regarding supervised IIM accounts which includes doing both an assessment and evaluation of the need for disbursements and helps to set up distribution plans if requests are approved.
SERVICES OFFERED: Budget counseling Protective - Payee Services Debt Management Assistance Utility Mediation Services Help in setting & establishing goals, both long term and short Money Management skills, reconciling bank statement, writing checks
HOW TO APPLY AND ELIGIBLITY CRITERIA:
MUST BE A NATIVE AMERICAN AND LIVE WITHIN THE BONDARIES OF BAD RIVER
