11^th Annual Ice Fishing Contest

Ø  Entry Fee = $5.00…Entry fee registers you for free prizes!! Over $700.00 in prizes will be given away

Ø  There will be only three (3) attended lines/person allowed.

Ø  The contest will be a one (1) day event starting at 8:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.

Ø  The area of fishing will be from the Blanchard Landing Pipe to the Black Bridge Foundation.

Ø  All fish registered must be alive.  Judges decisions are final!  All fish must be registered by 2:00 p.m.

Ø  Fish will be judged by weight.

Ø  In case of a tie, the first fish registered will be the deciding factor.

Ø  No trotlines.  No gill nets.  No electronic fishing aids will be allowed

Ø  No lines in water prior to 8:00 a.m. will be enforced.

Ø  Any person not complying with the rules will be disqualified

Ø  Only one prize per person (with the exception of the largest fish)

Ø  The contest will be open to Bad River Tribal Members only.

There will be a raffle for an Ice-Auger and also a 50/50 raffle will be held.  Tickets and raffle prizes available at the Boat Landing (Government Road) starting at 7:00 a.m.

THE BAD RIVER TRIBAL COUNCIL HAS INCREASED THE ANTE WITH A $1,000 DONATION

Each person will be attending the contest at his/her own risk.  The Bad River Tribe and or Woods and Water Club will not be liable for any injuries sustained during the fishing contest or be held responsible for any lost property.
