The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is reviewing the application received for the Africano Shoreline Stabilization Project.
In accordance with Section 401 of the Clean Water Act (CWA), the Bad River Band of LakeSuperior Tribe of Chippewa Indians is evaluating if there is reasonable assurance—withconditions attached—that the activities associated with this authorization will be consistentwith relevant water quality considerations.
The Tribe seeks comments on its proposed CWA Section 401 Certification decision associated with the Africano Shoreline Stabilization Project. Requests for additional information and written comments can be sent via email or post office to:
